"What is Glass Etching?"

Glass etching is the abrading of glass in selected areas in order to produce a design. It is a way to produce an art glass design that appears “frosted” on the surface of the glass, but it has more possibilites than that! It can also be used to carve a design deeper into the glass to produce a shaded design that looks like intricate airbrushing but is permanently etched in the piece of glass.
